The educational aspect of such contraposition is fairly clear: your karma projects some of your internal qualities on the outside in order for you to see them better. The problem is that, despite seeing it, you may not always realize that what you are looking at is, in fact, your own perfection or peccadillos.

Any opposition by the 7th House will bear a personal mark, which is why they are often superficial. As a counterbalance, partnerships here tend to be very effective. Still, the 7th house, much like the entire Diurnal Hemisphere, seems to carry the flair of oppression: both the outside world and the partner appear more powerful than you, so it is you who has to adjust, even when this is not how it looks.

On the lower evolutional levels, the synastry planets in the 7th House pose the following challenge: you either accept the submissive role and sync your behavior with that of your partner, or you fight the partner as you would an enemy, protecting what you perceive as integral parts of your personality and your rights.
